Due to a lack of markets and their propensity to contaminate other recyclables, plastic bags and film plastics, such as plastic wrapping, cling wrap, and small plastic pouches, are not currently recyclable in any of the jurisdictions in Santa Barbara County. Final Contract to Build the Tajiguas Resource Recovery Project Approved by Board of Supervisors
