County Supervisors Approve Tajiguas RRP – Largest Reducer of Greenhouse Gases in County History

On Tuesday the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors approved the final contracts necessary to move forward with the long-awaited Resource Recovery Project. The project will increase the County’s recycling rate to over 85% and will result in an estimated reduction of 110,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent each year. Read more...

County Passes Safe Med Disposal Ordinance
