Facility Closures and Trash Service Delays Due to Thomas Fire

The County's South Coast Recycling and Transfer Station at 4430 Calle Real in Santa Barbara will be closed on Friday, December 8 due to hazardous air quality resulting from the Thomas Fire and its impact on worker safety. MarBorg Industries' transfer station at 119 Quarantina Street in Santa Barbara will also be closed during this time.

Additionally, waste collection services scheduled for Friday, December 8 will be rescheduled to Saturday, December 9.

The Santa Ynez Valley Recycling & Transfer Station, located at 4004 Foxen Canyon Road in Los Olivos, will remain open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday.
