Community Hazardous Waste Collection Center Reopening!

The Community Hazardous Waste Collection Center at UCSB is set to reopen beginning Friday, May 1st for businesses (appointment only), and Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-3pm and Sunday, May 3rd, from 11am-3pm for households. COVID-19 Transfer Station Operation Updates

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the County is temporarily suspending its Saturday “ABOP” program at the Santa Ynez Valley Recycling and Transfer Station for the collection of antifreeze, automotive batteries, motor oil, and paint. The rest of the County’s transfer station services are currently operating, however we request that only essential materials be brought to our facilities during this time. Read more...
