Carpinteria Household Goods and Hazardous Waste Day
Address:
Spring is just around the corner, and so is Carpinteria's annual Household Goods and Hazardous Waste Day! Have old cleaning supplies you're not sure what to do with? Bring them, along with batteries, e-waste, paints, energy efficient or fluorescent light bulbs, mercury thermometers, and other materials that could be considered hazardous waste.
Proper disposal of waste prevents pollutants from seeping into the groundwater and contaminating drinking water supplies and habitats.
This event is open to City of Carpinteria residents. Small quantity generator businesses may dispose of items, by appointment, prior to the 9:00 a.m. start time.
