Hazardous Waste Warning
Wastes in this section are dangerous to you and the environment. Handle them carefully and dispose of them properly.
Legally, households may not transport more than 15 gallons of wet or 125 pounds of dry hazardous materials. Read about the regulation.
Stains and Finishes
Many stains and finishes have a good shelf life if packaged properly. You may want to keep them for future projects if you have the storage space. However, if you are all finished (pun intended) please make sure to bring your unused stains and finishes — like polyurethane, lacquer, and sealant — to one of the collection centers below.
