This section has everything you need to know about recycling at your home, business, apartment or school. Newspapers

All newspaper is recyclable. That was easy! You don't have to worry about separating the inserts or colored pages; they get recycled too.

What about the newspaper bags?

Sorry, newspaper bags are not recyclable in your blue bin. Take a look at our Plastic Bag Recycling page for more information.

Are there other uses for newspaper?

To get the most life out of your newspapers, you can share them with friends or donate recent copies to community groups or nonprofit organizations. Take a look at our Magazine, Catalog and Phone Book Reuse Page for more information.

Black and white newsprint makes good worm composting bedding. Avoid color inks and glossy paper, as they contain materials that could make the worms sick.

Also, there are plenty of crafts, including papier-mâché, that are great for leftover newspapers. Get creative!
