Recycling
LessIsMore.org works best in modern browsers like Firefox, Safari, Chrome, or Internet Explorer 8. All are free to download and will greatly improve your internet experience. This section has everything you need to know about recycling at your home, business, apartment or school. If you're not sure how to recycle a particular item, find it in the list below or use our search bar at the top of the page.
Magazines, catalogs, and telephone directories with glossy paper and covers can be recycled in your blue bin. Don't worry about removing staples or covers; just throw them in.
Are reuse options available?
In addition to sharing newspapers and magazines with friends and family, you can donate them to community groups and nonprofit organizations. Take a look at our Magazine and Catalog Reuse page. Even some phone books can be reused!
If you'd like to reduce the amount of catalogs you receive, take a look at our Stop Junk Mail page, and if you'd like to stop receiving phone books, visit our Phone Books Opt-Out page.
