City of Santa Maria Household Hazardous Waste Facility

Accepts a variety of hazardous waste from households, including aerosol cans with contents, antifreeze, automotive fluids, household and vehicular batteries, cleaning products, fluorescent lights, oil-based and latex paint, mercury containing devices, motor oil, oil filters, photo chemicals, pool supplies, solvents, adhesives, sharps, propane tanks,and printer cartridges. Businesses i the Santa Maria Valley that qualify as Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators (CESQG) may also dispose of hazardous waste at this facility. Facility is open for households on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Hazardous
