Hazardous Waste Center Closed Veterans’ Day

The Community Hazardous Waste Collection Center (Center), located on the campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara, will be closed on Friday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans' Day. Please be advised that it is unlawful to leave hazardous waste at the gate or any other unattended location.
The Center will be open on Saturday and Sunday for the acceptance of hazardous waste from households during its normal operating hours. Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Center will resume its normal operating hours for the acceptance of hazardous waste from businesses on Friday, November 18th by appointment only. If you have any questions, please call (805) 882-3602.
