Hazardous Waste Center Closed Thanksgiving Weekend

The Community Hazardous Waste Collection Center (Center), located on Mesa Road on the campus of the University of California at Santa Barbara, will be closed during the Thanksgiving weekend, November 24th through 27th. Please be advised that it is unlawful to leave hazardous waste at the gate or any other unattended location.
The Center will resume normal operating hours for the acceptance of hazardous waste from businesses by appointment only on Friday, December 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. To make an appointment, please call (805) 882-3602. Normal operating hours for the acceptance of hazardous waste from households will also resume beginning on Saturday, December 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Sunday, December 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please call (805) 882-3602.
