Agricultural Plastic Recycling
After you're done using your agricultural plastic, please take it to one of the facilities listed on this page to get recycled.
What is Ag Plastic?
If you've ever driven past a farmer's field and seen crops poking out of long black rows, then you've seen agricultural plastic, commonly called film. It is used to suppress weeds and reduce a crop's water demand.
You can Recycle Dirty Ag Plastic?
Yep! Recyclers are able to clean and then recycle it. The plastic is used to make products like garbage bags. In fact, during the 2010 Coastal Cleanup Day all of the bags provided by the County were made from recycled agricultural plastic.
