Document Shredding Event – Solvang

Shred2You is hosting three Shredding Events on April 24 at the following locations.

  • 8 to 10 a.m. at 107 W. Highway 246 in Buellton
  • 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 1571 Mission Drive in Solvang
  • 1 to 3 p.m. at the Meadowvale Movie Lot (the corner of Meadowvale and HWY 246) in Santa Ynez

According to Shred2You, to help avoid identity theft, some personal documents that should be properly disposed of using a shredder include preapproved credit card offers, anything with your Social Security number, passwords, lists of phone numbers, lists of addresses, credit card numbers, legal documents, receipts, and expired credit cards.

Document shredding will require a fee of $6.00 per regular-sized banker's box. There is no shredding limit. Shred2You will have 2 large trucks at each location.
