The County contracts with MarBorg Industries to provide regular trash, recyclables, and organic waste service from your home and business. You can view full details of Santa Barbara County's agreements with the franchise waste service hauler here:

Santa Barbara County previously contracted with Waste Management for solid waste services in the unincorporated areas of the Santa Ynez Valley, Lompoc Valley and Santa Maria Valley. If you have questions about Waste Management or your previous service, please contact us.

What if I live in a City?
For information specific to your city, please visit our local government contacts page and contact your local jurisdiction. Currently, the Cities of Lompoc and Santa Maria provide their own waste hauling services. The Cities of Buellton, Goleta, and Santa Barbara also contract with MarBorg Industries for regular waste collection services. The Cities of Guadalupe and Solvang contract with Waste Management, and the City of Carpinteria contracts with E.J. Harrison & Sons for regular waste collection services.
