Start on the journey to becoming a certified green business at a kickoff workshop on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Hardy Diagnostics in Santa Maria.
During the workshop you will:
- Meet the other local businesses in your certification group
- Meet local certified Green Businesses and hear about their certification experiences
- Meet local elected officials who support you in your efforts to become more sustainable
- Meet program staff who will be assessing your business and providing technical assistance
- Receive hands-on training on how to use and complete the online checklist
- Tour a certified green business
