The Resource Recovery and Waste Management Division has many facilities throughout Santa Barbara County that accept various types of waste. Click each location below to be taken to a list of fees and disposal costs.
Both transfer stations accept major credit cards and debit cards, as well as checks. Business customers may also set up an account with Public Works by contacting our Accounting Department at 805-568-3129 or emailing a request to kyhouch@cosbpw.net.

Landfills

- Note: Only franchise waste haulers and other account holders may deposit waste here. This facility is closed to public dumping. The Landfill is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The facility is closed on Sundays, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
