Every spring the County of Santa Barbara offers free composting workshops to answer all these questions and more. Whether you're looking to keep food scraps out of the landfill (and reduce greenhouse gas emissions), find out more about your current composting operation, or have never heard of composting but are interested, these workshops are for you!
Our North County workshop will be held on Saturday, June 8 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Santa Maria Valley Sustainable Garden at the County's 624 W. Foster Road campus.
