Sustainably SBPL – Composting and Vermicomposting Workshop in English and Spanish

In partnership with Explore Ecology and the Santa Barbara Public Library, the County is excited to announce a composting workshop coming up on Saturday, January 20 at the Eastside Public Library! The Eastside Library is located at 1102 E Montecito St, Santa Barbara, CA 93103. This workshop will be held in English from 1-2pm and again in Spanish from 2-3pm.
We’ll dive into the many types of composting, explore best practices for utilizing your compost, and how to maximize the benefits for your garden and the environment. No yard, no problem! We’ll also be discussing vermicomposting, which is ideal for folks who live in apartments or have little outdoor space. You could go home with a free compost tumbler as well!
