Foothill Open Space Weeding & Planting Day

January 28th, 9:00 am

It's time for another restoration event at Foothill Open Space! RSVP if you are interested.

The site is centrally located between Goleta and Santa Barbara and easily accessible by car or bike (there is a bit of a climb on your bike). Join us for an hour to two or for the entire time.

The Foothill Open Space is part of a State and County grant funded native plant restoration project where approximately 7 acres of land is being restored with over 10,000 native plants to improve wildlife habitat and enhance passive recreational opportunities.

The planting day is a great opportunity to get outdoors and get some exercise, all while learning about our local native plants and contributing to an important restoration effort.

To RSVP and for more information and directions to the the Foothill Landfill/Open Space contact:
Joddi Leipner @ 882-3614 or e-mail Jleipner@COSBPW.NET
