Hazardous Waste Center Closed for Christmas Holiday

The Community Hazardous Waste Collection Center, located on Mesa Road on the UCSB campus, will be closed during the weekend after Christmas from December 27th through 29th and the weekend after New Year's Day from January 3rd through 5th.
The collection center will resume normal operating hours for the acceptance of hazardous waste from businesses (by appointment only) on Friday, January 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. To make an appointment, please call (805) 882-3602.
Normal operating hours for the acceptance of hazardous waste from households will resume beginning on Saturday, January 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Sunday, January 12th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please call (805) 882-3602.
