Foothill Open Space Planting Day

September 24th, 9:00 am

Join the Public Works Department and Growing Solutions Restoration Education Institute for a community planting day at the Foothill Open Space.

The Foothill Open Space is part of a State and County grant funded native plant restoration project where approximately 7 acres of land is being restored with over 10,000 native plants to improve wildlife habitat and enhance passive recreational opportunities. The site is centrally located between Goleta and Santa Barbara and easily accessible by car or bike (there is a bit of a climb on your bike).

Join us for an hour to two or for the entire time.  Please RSVP if you are able to join us.

RSVP to Joddi Leipner at or by calling 805 882-3614.

This event is part of Santa Barbara Creek Week!
