North County Cleanup Sites
We cleaned some of your favorite places in Lompoc, the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Maria areas!

Lompoc Area Site:
Jalama Beach:
Meeting Place: By the Flagpole.

Parking: Jalama Beach has a parking lot on site.
Santa Ynez Valley Sites:
Lake Cachuma:
Meeting Place: Lake Cachuma - Pawnee Plateau Area
Lake Captains: Susie Gomez and Sharon Foster

Parking: There is parking on site. The rangers will be giving out free auto permits to volunteers who come into the site for Coastal Cleanup Day.
Special Information: The ranger will also be able to provide trash grabbers to volunteers. Please make sure they are returned to the ranger.
White Rock Day Use Area:
Meeting Place: The Los Padres National Forest Ranger Station at 3505 Paradise Road, Santa Barbara, Ca 93105
Site Captain: Stephanie Holthaus

Parking: The Ranger will be handing out free parking passes to volunteers who meet at the ranger's station. Park at the Ranger station or at White Rock Area.
Special information: The ranger will also be able to provide trash grabbers to volunteers. Please make sure they are returned to the ranger.
If anyone shows up with bikes and a trailer, there is a need for trash pickup at Red Rocks. The bridge was washed out and the area is not accessible by truck right now. This is totally optional, but would be appreciated.
NOTE: Please get to the Ranger Station by 9, there will be a safety talk and then carpool to the site.
Zanja De Cota Creek:
Meeting Place: Tribal Hall, 100 Via Juana Lane, Santa Ynez CA 93460.
Beach Captain: Jesse Patterson
Organization: Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians

Guadalupe Area Site:
Guadalupe Dunes Beach:
Meeting Place: Part of the road has been washed out. Please meet at the parking lot a 20 minute walk past the road turn around.
Beach Captain: Eddie Ando
Organization: Santa Barbara County, Resource Recovery & Waste Management

Parking: Parking will be very limited due to the washout, please carpool if you can. Park at the end of the road.
Special Directions: The site may be chilly, so make sure to bring a coat on top of the other materials suggested.
Please note that because the road washed out earlier this year, this site will require a decent walk.
