Carpinteria Cleanup Sites

We cleaned some of your favorite places in Carpinteria!

Carpinteria, Santa Monica, and Franklin Creeks:

Meeting Place: 5775 Carpinteria Ave in Carpinteria
Creek Captain: Erin Maker
Organizations: City of Carpinteria.

Parking: There is plenty of parking at the meeting location.

 

Carpinteria State Beach:

Meeting Place: The picnic tables at the end of Linden Avenue.
Beach Captain: Eduardo Bell
Organization: Self Enquiry Life Fellowship

Parking: If you get a parking pass from the beach captain and tell the kiosk that you are a Coastal Cleanup Day volunteer, free parking will be available in the Parking lot at Carpinteria State Beach. Walking to this site is strongly encouraged.

Jelly Bowl Beach:

Meeting Place: The bluff area near the beach stairs, over the railroad tracks at the foot of Calle Ocho.
Beach Captains: Jan Silk
Organization: Carpinteria Family School

Parking: Walking to this site is strongly encouraged. Parking in downtown Carpinteria may be available.
Special Directions: To get to the site you must cross train tracks. Please be wary and check for oncoming trains before crossing.

 

Rincon Park (Bates) Beach:

Meeting Place: At the picnic tables by the bathrooms on the bluff.
Beach Captain: Nancy Lapolla
Organization: Santa Barbara County EMS

Santa Claus Lane (Padaro Lane) Beach:

Meeting Place: Towards the west entrance of Santa Claus Lane, close to the street.
Beach Captains: Marta Alvarez and Linda Taylor
Organization: NOAA Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
