C&D Recycling: Drywall
Construction & Demolition (C&D) materials are generated during construction, remodeling, building repair, cleanup, or demolition.
C&D contains many different types of materials, most of which are recyclable at facilities listed in this section.
Drywall, or sheet rock, is an extremely common construction material made from gypsum. While it revolutionized the construction industry, drywall can cause problems if buried in our landfills. Gypsum contains sulfur, which can create noxious chemicals. Please recycle your drywall at the locations listed below.
