LessIsMore.org Reborn!
LessIsMore.org, the County of Santa Barbara's recycling website, has been completely redesigned!
You can now search for any material you would like to recycle or dispose of and find all the locations near you. Recycling has never been easier.
The site is also jam packed with more information about why certain materials are recyclable, what to do with hazardous waste and electronics, and all sorts of composting information too!
Where do I start?
The search, oh the search. Have an old mattress in the garage? Wondering what to do with old latex paint? Worried about not flushing medication down the drain?
Just try the search. Type in items you have, find where you should take them, and learn a little on the way.
Are there more details about the new site available?
Be sure to take our tour of the new site. It will help you get oriented. Visit our Take The Tour page for more details.
But I liked the old site!
So did we. That is why we took all the information off of the old site and kept it here too. If you liked the old navigation, check out our Featured County Programs Page. It will list things out similarly to how you found them on the old site.
Let us know what you think.
Contact us any time with your thoughts about the new site. We would love your feedback. Or you can leave a comment below. Don't post your email if you don't want it to be public.
