Cuyama Valley Hazardous Waste & Electronics Collection Event October 12

Our Cuyama Valley event will occur from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12th at the New Cuyama Recycling and Transfer Station, located at 5073 Highway 166 in New Cuyama.

The event is free for households in the unincorporated area of the County.  A variety of household hazardous waste will be accepted, such as motor oil, paint, cleaners, solvents, and chemicals, as well as various types of electronic equipment like computers, printers, TVs, and cell phones. 

Businesses may also dispose of their hazardous waste and electronics (applicable fees apply), but must make an appointment ahead of time.

Please note that no explosives, radioactive or biological material, ammunition, controlled substances, or smoke alarms will be accepted. Also, no satellite dishes, refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, or other large appliances. Finally, no trash or green waste will be accepted on this day.
