Thank You, Valley Residents!
Many thanks to the 337 participants who attended our Santa Ynez Valley Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Collection Event on April 3. We collected LOTS of unwanted material, from old paint and motor oil to outdated computers and TVs. By the end of the day, Valley residents dropped off 42,569 pounds of unwanted material.
A big thank-you as well to KEYT for covering our event on the local news. You can view the story here.
If you missed the collection event, check out our Hazardous Waste page for information on how to get rid of your old stuff. Or feel free to contact us with your specific questions.
Stay tuned for our next collection event in October!
